Job Description

The Head Office Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial activities of the company's head office. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. They will also be responsible for managing a team of accountants and financial analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports and statements for the head office
Manage the company's budget and ensure that it is aligned with the company's goals and objectives
Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of the head office, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Coordinate and work closely with the finance team to provide financial analysis and support to the organization
Manage a team of accountants and financial analysts and provide coaching and mentoring to develop their skills and knowledge

Skills, Experiences

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
