GluCare is a technology company disguised as a Diabetes Clinic. We use technology-enhanced services to provide metabolic health service, primarily for diabetes and other endocrinology services as well as common comorbidities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Statistician to join our GluCare team. As a Statistician, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data related to diabetes management and developing statistical models to support our product development and research efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large and complex datasets related to diabetes management, including clinical trial data, patient-generated data, and real-world evidence.
  • Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze and visualize data, identify patterns, correlations, and trends, and generate meaningful insights.
  • Provide statistical guidance and support in the planning, design, and execution of clinical trials, observational studies, and other research projects.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of study outcomes, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, survival analysis, and Bayesian analysis.
  • Perform power calculations and sample size determination for clinical trials and studies. Evaluate and validate statistical methodologies and models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility of results.
  • Present statistical findings and insights to internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in written reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in statistical methods, data analysis techniques, and relevant regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of statistical analysis tools, software, and workflows.

Skills, Experiences

  • Proven experience as a Statistician, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Strong expertise in statistical analysis methods, including regression analysis, survival analysis, Bayesian analysis, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages, such as R or Python, and experience with data manipulation, visualization, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, such as generalized linear models, mixed-effects models, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial design, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and critically.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
